MARJORIE B. LLOYD, PT, DPT, OCS
Marjorie Lloyd is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Naval Officer. She has worked in Sports Medicine for the tactical athlete community for over 5 years.

Lloyd graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in May 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. After a short bout of teaching, coaching, and personal training she decided to pursue further education. Dr. Lloyd graduated with highest honors from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia in 2013 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She completed an orthopedic residency in Carlsbad, CA and became certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2015.

She felt the urge to give back to those who serve this country and follow in her parents’ footsteps by joining the Navy 2016. In 2017, she was chosen to be the sole physical therapist for Team Navy for the Wounded Warrior Games. Shortly after she was hand selected to go to Naval Special Warfare Center and worked as both the head of physical therapy and the human performance program manager in Coronado, CA for the SEAL/SWCC special operator pipeline and advanced training command. She then transferred to Virginia and continued working in the special operator community in a human performance training center collaborating with strength & conditioning specialists, athletic trainers, sports dieticians, and mental performance clinicians.

Currently she works in pediatric sports medicine treating patients aged 7 to collegiate athletes. She’s excited to continue her journey working with elite athletes dealing with challenging environments for the Human Performance Project. She’s also working towards earning her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification and fulfilling her reserve duty service obligation.
